We've (Probably) Got Answers!
NC Kpop Hive is a North Carolina-based K-pop community hub that hosts events, creates resources, and builds connections. Stay connected to the collective!
We’re currently a grassroots community group. We’re exploring nonprofit options to better support inclusive and sensory-friendly fandom spaces.
No. We don’t sell official albums. We create original fan resources, zines, freebies, and sometimes handmade or digital items. Occasionally, items will be available for purchase in our Ko-fi shop to help fundraise.
Message us on Instagram or Facebook @nckpophive, or send us an email at nckpophive@gmail.com about donations or volunteering. We can always use extra help on our social media platforms and at in-person events!
Yes! Just send us a message! All promotions are free. If you need additional help with designs or print-based promotions, we may encourage a donation to help cover supplies or reimburse volunteers for their resources.
"Make Your Mark" is a way to promote your business through physical print media. Similar to business cards, these bookmarks will have your business information. They can also show off some of your products and personality.
There is no fee. Bookmarks are paid for by community donations. All you have to do is fill out our form and share your business information. Our in-house graphic design team will design your bookmarks and send you a digital proof.
If you like what you see, we will print 10 bookmarks for every event we attend within the next 12 months. You can also order additional bookmarks for yourself!
You can opt out or fill out the form for new/updated bookmarks at anytime!

Yes! NC K-pop Hive has an annual printed directory. About 50 copies are made per year (unless otherwise ordered) and are distributed locally amongst shops and events. All known North Carolinian shops, vendors, and local projects are automatically referenced. Frequent visitors may also be included.
We will also be creating a digital directory, hopefully launched later this year!
To be included in the Directory 2026 edition as a featured shop, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/bRPUfokCiGt7EFEK7
Yes!
We are partnered with a freelance graphic designer who has worked with InWave, Kingdom of Kpop & More, Red & Co, and various local authors and artists! They are responsible for over 90% of the designs you see from us today, including this website! We also have several volunteers with an eye for design who can help, too!
If you need help with branding, social media posts, event flyers, cupsleeve designs, or just want advice on how to improve your own designs, don't hesitate to contact us about our team and graphic design services!
Of course! While we specialize in the North Carolinian areas, we can help out regardless of where you're from. In terms of promotions on social media, we can repost and share to our stories, but may limit collaborations or promotions via our main feed to prioritize the North Carolina community.

Yes! And it's so much fun! KoreaFest is an annual event in Raleigh, hosted by InWave, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is packed with vendors, food, performances, and activities. There are also meet & greet opportunities with some of the idol judges. Check out inwavemovement.com for more information about the organization and it's events.
No, but it is related. It's a separate event that takes place a few months prior to KoreaFest. The K-pop Dance Showcase is a performance-based event and contest. The winners may advance to the KoreaFest stage with all audition fees waived! Audience members also get to take part in voting.
At the Kpop Dance Showcase, you can support local dancers, help InWave fundraise for KoreaFest, and maybe even get some exclusive first looks at what to expect for the upcoming KoreaFest event.
You do not have to be a dancer or a part of a team to attend; everyone is welcome to come enjoy the performances! There is also a Random Play Dance towards the end of the event. Whether you are a dancer or not, we encourage you to attend and support our local K-pop dance crews!
Yes! K-pop Stan Fest is new but growing! It's an annual event in the Charlotte area, hosted by Jhoxan of Lighstick Bias. Information and tickets are available on Eventbrite. The event host is always looking for dance crews, vendors, and other community members who want to participate in something fun together!
YES! 100% Absolutely! 2025 was the first year of K-Ball, and there's speculation about it becoming an annual event.
The event is very much like an adult's prom night, with a little bit of a Kpop Club Night feel! The event is hosted in a ballroom with access to snacks, vendors, and a night full of fun! We can't wait to see if it's coming back in 2026!
We highly recommend attending any of Triad K-pop's Markets and Events! They are well-decorated, themed, and the snacks and drinks are always high-quality and are often sourced from local businesses.
Buzzworthy is a fan magazine! You can email any artwork, writings, events, business promotions, or ideas to nckpophive@gmail.com. You do not have to be from North Carolina to participate. There is no fee. All fandoms welcome. No NSFW or AI.
